#BookReview–> Baby Bonanza by Maureen Child

An affair and then a shattering revelation leaves Nick Falco and Jenna Baker on different paths but its been almost a year and Jenna is back with a bang. She claims to have mothered Nick’s twins and wants monetary support from him if nothing else. But can Nick believe her when he knows that she is a liar and a deceiver?
Is she telling the truth this time?
Are the twins his?
What is he willing to do about all this?
Can he accept them?

Baby Bonanza by Maureen Child is your typical Harlequin romance with an alpha male billionaire with an aversion to marriage and no belief in true love and then there is a strong but totally head-over-heels in love with the hero, heroine who foolishly loves the hero and believes
that he will love her too while also knowing that he is just passing his time with her! Then there is misunderstanding and ultimately after much struggle and high intensity dramatic scenes there is a happily-ever-after for everyone. 🙂

Here also the case is the same and this is a light and breezy romance that you can read quickly. The story is predictable and the characters also stereotype. The story telling is simple and done admirably which holds the attention of the reader.

I read this book pretty quickly and cant say that I didn’t enjoy it. 🙂
The chemistry and sexual tension between Jenna and Nick is expertly developed and gives the readers many ‘Ooh’ and ‘Aah’ moments. Jenna’s love for her children is also very sensitively portrayed as well as Nick’s shock at learning that he is a father.

For me the main attraction were the twins who are just too cute and totally endearing. I simply loved them. 🙂

All in all, a perfect getaway from everyday problems. If you are a hopeless romantic like me then Baby Bonanza is for you. I give it a 3.8 out of 5.
