name is Nikita (Njkinny) and I am from India. I started this blog as a means of escape from some very depressing situations in my life a few years ago. My love for writing, reading and cooking saved me from depression. Sometimes despite having all outward pointers to having a great life, what no one realises is that often times what we see from outside is not the reality from inside. To battle the negative and stay positive, Njkinny’s Blog came into being.

Ever since, this blog that initially started as a Book Blog has grown into a full-fledged Lifestyle Blog. As for me, all thanks to your support, I was able to leave behind all the things and people that were sucking out the life from me. I am now a mom to a very energetic and devilishly angelic toddler who keeps me on my feet all day but I still love each second and would not trade it for anything.
