#ARCBookReview: Tara (Beach Brides #2) by Ginny Baird

ARC Book Review:

Tara by Ginny Baird is the second book in the Beach Brides series and I first got attracted towards this book because it’s a Ginny Baird book. I love Ginny’s writing style and her talent in making the most challenging of plots come out as witty, romantic and totally memorable!

The cover is beautiful and the blurb catchy; sure to make readers stop and take notice. The Beach Brides series features twelve friends who are all romantics at heart but have been unfortunate in love so far. On a dare, each tosses a message in a bottle out in the sea with a message to their dream hero.

Despite being part of a series, each book can be read as a standalone story which I can attest to, since I read this book before jumping to read the first book of the Beach Brides series, Meg by Julie Jarnagin.

This is Tara’s and Heath’s story. Tara runs a romance book store and Heath is a Banker who finds her bottle with the message inside and contacts her. Will these two get a happily-ever-after?

Right from the start, I loved Tara. She is a curious mix of shy, spunky, responsible, cautious yet hopelessly romantic at heart and a woman I could well imagine as my friend. Heath is her polar opposite with his pragmatic, practical and certainly non-romantic lifestyle. So it was so entertaining watching them fall for each other.

The plot is simple but executed admirably and made engaging. The author throws well calculated twists and turns and her crisp narration held me captive until the very end. This is a heartwarming, engrossing and clean romance that is a perfect companion for those leisurely afternoons.

The characters are well developed and realistically portrayed. The romance and story develops fluidly and left me feeling satisfied and deliriously happy.

All in all, Tara by Ginny Baird is another great addition to the heartwarming Beach Brides series that I heartily enjoyed reading and recommend to everyone. 4.5 stars out of 5 to Tara from me. Go read this heartfelt romantic book and also checkout the Beach Brides series. They are not to be missed!

I received an ARC from the author for review and the above is my honest and unbiased opinion.
