Book Review:
Alex lost his wife in an accident and then lost himself in a world filled with grief, sorrow and rage. As if this is not enough, he is soon suspecting a colleague of destroying his family and is soon faced with complications and dangers that threaten not only his past but also his future.

I read Lorrie Farrelly’s award winning book, Terms of Surrender and absolutely loved it. While Terms of Surrender is a historical romance, I was intrigued with Timelapse which deals in time travel.
I had heard great things about this book and like Lorrie’s other books, this one has also won many awards and nominations.

The cover is normal and could have been made more catchy. The blurb intrigues.

The first thing that struck me in the book was the flow and the meticulous planning of the story. The story starts slow but despite that the author builds realistic situations, characters and manages to keep the reader hooked.

All through the book I felt so connected with Alex and could feel his emotions like they were my wown. The high action scenes kept me at the edge of my seat and before long the time had flown and I was a happy reader. 🙂

Lorrie’s writing style is engaging, simple and brings the story to life in the minds of the readers.

All in all, this was an enjoyable read that had me entertained completely for a few hours and left a deep impression on my mind which had me thinking about the book even after I had finished reading it. 4 out of 5 to Timelapse and recommended to everyone especially people who love time travel stories.

I received a copy of the book from the author and I am very thankful to her. The above review is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.

  1. Sounds like an interesting read. Really don't like that cover though. Too bad, because I think people won't look at it for long because of it. But I do like Sci Fi stories so I will definitely keep this one in mind. 😉

  2. I agree the cover does need some work. I admit I am a cover judge and I would probably pass on it cause of the cover..lol. It does sound interesting though. 🙂
