I have read and enjoyed Cathy McDavid’s stories in the past and so when I heard about this book, I knew I had to read it.
This is the first book in a new series, Reckless, Arizona which takes us to another American family with their own secrets and mysteries. There are a variety of characters with hidden agendas and back stories who have come together and I loved how Cathy introduced them and intrigued the reader about them.
The rodeo scenario is most realistic and while I have never been to one, I could visualize everything like I was there. There are two mysteries running together in this book and while one gets closed in this book, the other one I think will be running in the background in all the books in this series.
I enjoyed the twists and turns in the book and sat engaged throughout. The writing style is as usual splendid and Cathy has me intrigued about the successive books in this series.
All in all, More Than a Cowboy by Cathy McDavid is another entertaining romantic suspense by the author that I absolutely loved and recommend to everyone. 4 out of 5 to it.
