Day 1 of #WhatTheBlack ~Expect the Unexpected Contest

#WhatTheBlack fun has started and I received my first surprise package yesterday, late in the evening. While I took many wild guesses along with my friends who also gave it their best shot, none of us was expecting the item that we got!


Can you guess what it was?


It was a ………..Black egg! Hahaha..caught ya with your mouth hanging open.. {wink}

This egg came with a note that said “The question is no longer ‘Did the chicken come first or the egg?’.The question now is ‘Why is it black?‘”


Since the black color was already on my hands from holding it, I ran it under water. Ooh I know, I felt like it was Easter again! 🙂


Fun stuff inside eggs…So when I ran it under water the black color washed off and I got a purple and then a white color. Since no clue came here, I broke it and was hoping for some jelly beans or chocolate just like we get after breaking the Easter eggs. 🙂

Now before you say anything, let me reveal the inside scoop. The insides of this mysterious black egg contained chocolate which was very tasty and this is proved just by the fact that I didn’t get any because as soon as it came out it was devoured by my very-chocolate-loving husband! 🙂

With a day well spent where I had loads of fun on Twitter and Facebook and also got a package that left me speechless, I am all too eager for Day 2 of the #WhatTheBlack mystery.
