This week’s question is:
Question of the Week: What living author or authors would you like to have dinner with? (Try to think beyond JK Rowling)
Ruskin Bond gave me so many beautiful and soulful stories as a child. Living in Mussorie, his books are an inspiration and a must read for all children and adults alike. I totally dig his books. 🙂
Nora Roberts started me on romance and I finally understood why all my friends liked this genre. Family oriented with intriguing plots, beautiful settings (places I wish to visit someday) and strong characters, I totally dig her books. Although her recent novels have gone redundant but still her earlier works are top notch and must read for all romance lovers.
B.J. Daniels is also one of the first authors I read when starting on romance and the fact that she dealt with romantic suspense was a plus. Great and innovative plots which keep you glued till the very end, this is one author everyone, who loves romance with a great story line, should look out for.
Stephenie Meyer proved that vampires and wolves could also be sexy. Her Twilight series made a place in my heart and I have never looked at vampire and wolf stories the same ever since reading her books. A must read author, her Twilight series is a must have for every reader.
Nicholas Sparks made me venture into hardcore emotional romance which is a great feat considering the fact that I shy away from emotional books. His stories are soulful and make you cry but they also open your eyes to the importance of living your life to the fullest and give you a new perspective to your problems.
Mitch Albom is another author to look out for. Shocking the readers with questions like what if they had just one more day to live? and what if we got a phone call from heaven? He also inspires the readers to live fully, happily and rise above the day to day struggles to find a nurturing and satisfying existence. I have loved all his books till date and recommend his work to everyone.
JK Rowling is an author who rose to stardom and gained new heights of popularity with her HP series. A normal woman who became a household name through her writing, she is an inspiration and her HP series is refreshing and totally, a must have. My childhood would have been incomplete without HP! 🙂
I would love to pick their brains and get an inside look into their writing motivations. Eating with me will in no way be a quiet affair. I know I have so many questions that it will probably be a long dinner! 🙂 🙂
I got this idea from Amanda @ I solemnly swear to officially invite the authors. So here it goes.
Please consider this my official invitation.
To Ruskin, Nora, BJ, Stephanie, Nicholas, Mitch and JK

I agree about Stephenie Meyer. I'd like to meet her too. It would be really interesting to learn how she feels about how Twilight went from fan craziness to being the center of jokes. I still love the series despite what anyone says.
I followed on Bloglovin.
I also love her series and its sad that people make jokes about it..:)
