Feature and Follow #35 ~ Books I seek out when I am happy, sad or angry

Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The purpose is to meet new people and gain more followers in the book blogging community.
If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers. But you have to know, the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

Question of the Week:Do you have a go to genre when you’re happy, sad, or angry? – Suggested by

Take Me Away…

I dont usually need a specific genre to go to when I am feeling low or happy but rather I like re-reading my favourite books like the books featuring Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple and the romances from authors like Nora Roberts, Monica McLean, Annette Broadrick, B.J. Daniels etc. or diving into favourites like HP, Twilight series, Narnia series, books by Ruskin Bond, Premchand etc. It all depends on which is the first book I get my hands on while seraching through my favourites shelf. 🙂

What about you? Do you have a specific choice?

  1. I like to read my favorite books, the ones I can read over and over again to get myself in a better mood. Otherwise I just pick a book that matches my mood.

I'm a new GoodReads follower, and an old follower everywhere else.

  2. I am always confused among all the books that I love so it's basically a competition where the first book becomes my reading friend 🙂
