Question of the Week:
Have you ever been to BEA? If not, what’s stopping you? If you have, what was your best experience there? – Suggested byThe Paperback Princess
I have never to a BEA because I live in India. I have been to book fairs and author meets in India and they are absolutely splendid and a great way to meet and interact with new and old authors. π

Question of the Week:
Where is your favorite place to read?
I love reading while laying on my bed. My bed overlooks the window and so it is a perfect spot, both relaxing and close enough that I can enjoy the view from my window which overlooks the trees with plenty of varied birds chirping as they lounge on those trees.
This is my favourite place.
What’s yours?

Here is my week in 1 pic:
So much has happened this week. I got so many surprises including a pack of Ariel from Blogadda and Indiblogger! π
Won 3 competitions, received praise for my writing from fellow and readers bloggers, my blog crossed the 100000 visitor count benchmark, got some awesome books to read via mail like Frozen Summer & Columbina by bloggers turned author Geetha Madhuri and Cynthia Daniel, Shattered Dreams by Shubha Vilas etc. (Will share my TBR list’s new additions tomorrow. Do drop by tomorrow to check it out and share yours).
This week has been great. But the real surprise came this morning when I got news that I had been selected by the esteemed cricketer Harsha Bhogle in his #BloggerDreamTeam!
I could not believe my eyes and I am so happy that I got selected. There were 931 bloggers who participated and only 11 have been selected so it was pretty tough competition but I am glad to have made it.
Read the post I wrote for the competition here: http://www.njkinnysblog.com/2015/03/style-quotient-at-cricket-world-cup.html

I've never been to BEA, either, Nikita. But I have been to the Brooklyn Book Fest once, kind of by chance, really, because I was in NYC with my husband, and hadn't planned around the festival.
Have a fantastic Friday!
Grt Lexie..It must have been fun π
Thanks for dropping by!
I have the same problem I live in Macedonia.
Old follower Silvy @Books are my life
Following via GFC now. Same here, I'm not from the US ughhh. That question legitimately made me angry. As if everyone had the means to/even lived remotely close to wherever the heck they do BEA.
I have attended a few events in India so I am happy here. π
Thanks for dropping by Silvy..:)
I didn't quite think it that way Jen…I attended and have had a lot of fun at the author and book events in India so I am happy. However, this week's question is a little specific.
Don't be angry…Chill and have fun at the events in your country and also interact with authors on the web. The internet has made everything so accessible now that I dont feel any issues at having not attended BEA. LOL π
Thanks for dropping by and following!
I haven't been to BEA. It's way too expensive.
