I cant believe this year is almost over and Christmas is already here. It seems like yesterday, I was welcoming 2017 and now it’s time to bid goodbye!
But such is life.
This year I lost my Dad (Father-in-Law) and so Christmas is going to be a subdued affair with only close family. Still I have put up a Christmas tree, though a small one, and will be playing Santa to my toddler who is all excited and wrecking havoc in his excitement. Don’t laugh, I am serious. Ask any of the many toys, utensils and other its and bits of furniture that are either broken or just a little bit disfigured by all his searching and guessing of the surprises he is going to get tomorrow. Phew…

I hope you have a great time with family and friends. Remember to spread happiness, love and kindness everyone. While these are free, they are in great demand because in all the chaos of daily life, we have all lost patience and forgotten to enjoy the small things in life.
I, for one, plan to feed the birds, stray dog and stray cat in my colony tomorrow which, though I do every day, will be extra special on Christmas day along with giving a small gift with my gratitude to the helpers and encourage you to do the same. The happiness and look of pure joy in the eyes of the receiver is a feeling like no other and above all it is good karma.
