Shaun Brannon is broken to the core. But even though Kelsey’s heart is cracking as she helps him carry the weight of his past, she can’t walk away from her promise to be there for him, and she can’t ignore her deepening feelings. So she tries to accept the little he’s offering, even though she wants it all. But after months of wrestling with her emotions, she decides she must risk losing him by asking for more than he’s prepared to give her.

Shaun won’t admit it, but he aches for more than Kelsey’s warm body in his bed. The problem is, something stands between them. The whole truth about what happened eight years ago. When Kelsey demands to have all of him or she’ll walk away, he knows the time has come to tell her the truth. But the fear of reliving the past is just as paralyzing as the thought of losing her.

To Love Again picks up from where the previous book, To Live Again left off. I had immensely enjoyed the first book and so had great expectations from this one which I am happy to say were more than fulfilled!

The book covers for all the books in this series are same with only the title to tell them apart. The blurb for this book is intriguing and instantly makes you want to pick the book up to read and I have noticed that this kind of interest is generated by the blurbs of all the three books in this series which is an admirable positive point in favour of the books.

Dori Lavelle has the uncanny ability to weave together sentences that touch your heart and make you one with the characters. Same happens in this book too. I felt each and every emotion felt by the characters in this book and got connected to their story so much that their feelings stayed with me even after I had finished the book. The best thing about Dori’s books is that they are mainly novellas which are quick to read and sure to entertain and engage you. Kudos to the author for writing another hit book!

The writing style of the author is simple, engaging and very vivid. She vividly captures the emotional play of the central characters and succeeds in making the readers feel the emotions too. The characters are developed further in this book and while I loved Shaun and Kelsey in the first book, I definitely became best buddies with them in this one. Their attraction is scorching and the scenes between them hot with a lot of emotional play.Their story takes another twist in this book which left me even more eager to start on the third and the last book in this series, To Breathe Again.

Absolutely everything about the book is perfect. 5 on 5 to it and strongly recommended to all romance lovers above the age of eighteen. Go buy and read this series. It is not to be missed. Although the books can be read as standalone but it is recommended that you read them in order.  Dori is a talented author and definitely on my list of favourites.

I received an ARC from the author and I am very thankful to her. The above review is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.

Eight years ago, Shaun Brannon stopped believing in love, or marriage. His only belief now is in lust. Dori Lavelle, is a mother, wife, and a sucker for happy-ever-afters and mint chocolate. Give her a great romance novel and a mug of hot chocolate and she’d be one happy woman. Growing up, Dori read a lot, and when she wasn’t happy with a particular ending, she wrote a different one, just for herself. Before long, she was writing stories when she should have been doing homework. The time has come for her to share the stories she cooks up in her head.
